Priming plywood floor

Hi, could anyone tell me if it is still necessary to prime an over boarded timber floor please, the over boarding is 15mm ply and I will be using Mapei Super flexible Grey Tile Powder Adhesive.

If it does can anyone recommend a product as I'm aware PVA is not the way to go!

ardex p51 or ctd ultra trade is sbr in there pot.. cheaper
