Hi,

Test drove a 307 DT which has done 51,000 mls.

About a quarter of a mile down the road the car seemed to loose power.

When driven further the power seemed ok.

The car dealer thought it was only a minor fault due to a blocked air

supply/pipe which he would get replaced and checked before purchasing.

Just wondered if this sounds correct or does it sound more serious.

The car will have a standard three month warranty when sold.

It might well turn out be a silly little thing but I'd be inclined to ask for another test drive, after it's been repaired.

turbo not working ?

will 3 month cover that ?

walk away or tell him you will buy if he fixes first not after
