Help please.
We recently moved into a house with a Radiant RSF 24P boiler. Everything was going fine with it over the summer until 2 weeks ago. The pilot light kept going off and had to be manually switched on. Now the light has completely died off and the boiler has stopped working.

Trust it to go off just as winter has started.
Anyway, I got someone to come have a look and apparently my PCB board has given up the ghost and needs to be replaced.

The board alone costs about £327+VAT.
For a second opinion , I have called Radiant helpline and am still waiting for feedback from them. In the meantime, I'm freezing to death .....no heating and no hot water.

I guess my question is, what is a PCB board and could there be something else wrong with the boiler other than this PCB? I have been hearing about a thermocouple as likely culprit as well.
HELP!!!!
