Hi
Erm
I have a problem with the above combi-boiler, which ocurred yesterday.
The pressure on the central heating system exceed 3 bar, which tiggered the pressure relief system. I had a similar problem about 12 months before, which a plumber fixed for me and was caused by insufficient pressure in the expansion vessel.
I have just checked the pressure in the expansion vessel and a fair amount of water leaked out of the valve. My understanding is the expansion vessel should contain air only
Do I have a leak into my expansion vessel? Is it terminal? Should I send this boiler into boiler heaven/hell?
Any help would be most appreciated.
