Can you please advise the best way to remove a fence post embedded in concrete. This broke recently in the storms and I now have 18 inches remains, 6 inches below the surface of the concrete.

Any suitable advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

best way to do this is to dig around concrete and remove the whole lot post & concrete together, if you can,t you will have to hire a concrete breaker

Assuming you want to retain the concrete in order to slot another post in , then the easiest way to remove the broken remains is to get the widest Auger drill bit you can and drill holes down the centre of the remains in order to remove as much material as possible then you should be able to prise the post from the sides of the concrete thus splitting it and allowing easy removal.
