dont laugh, recently i tiled my bathroom, after grouting i heard a scream and ran through the house to find my girlfiend had opened an old sash window and it fell down onher fingers! as she was trapped and squealing like a pig i spent the next hour reassuring her that her fingers werent broken and she would live.
Anyway my grout went hard and its taken me 3 days to scrape about 2 foot square of tiles and the whole wall looks terrible . can anyone tell me an easier way to clean it?cheers

It will soften (somewhat) if you get it wet enough. I can't immediately think of any easy way of keeping it wet, but as an experiment you could stick a wet kitchen towel onto a single tile. It will probably hold itself in place, and you could spray it occasionally, and after (say) an hour have a go at the moistened grout.

Other than that, lots of elbow grease will get it off. ;)
