i've removed an old conservatory and have the obligatory outline of sealant remaining on the brickwork! I have used a blade and removed mist of the sealant but there is still alot of sealant that seems to have soaked into the brickwork?

Is there anything I can use i.e. white spirit to remove the remnants, can I wire brush it of our does this do more damage?

I read a post about a blow torch but it didn't say if that was any use?

Cheers

You can use Sealant remover.

Obtainable from shops that sell sealant.

It make the stuff go sort of soft and crumbly, you will probably need a wire brush to get it off brickwork, but a sharp knife or old chisel wil take it off flat surfaces. It will take several applications to get through a thick layer.
