Removing Rust

Try spraying with WD40, and Wire wool. Or sandblasting if particularly heavy rust. . When clean, wipe with an oilly rag to give a layer of protection.

But no-one told your to do that?.

:D It is nice though when the original poster gives an update. I think wakeborder may be referring to buying rotary wire brushes, which could also offer an effective solution.

Got A few Tools and need to remove The rust off Them. Anything I can use other than Rust Remover.

What's the problem you are having with Rust Remover.

Its just that I have been using an acid rust remover for years and it works especially well on chromed items. I them clean it off with green scotchbrite and water. B&Q sell the stuff for cleaning garden tools.

Moral here is, look after your tools.
Clean after use.
Use a suitable lubricant if stored for a while.
Keep sharp.

3 simple steps to ensure a lifetime of use.
But in this day and age, most throw and buy cheap, hence the lack of skill anymore!
