Is there a good method of removing wallpaper from platerboard walls without ruining the plasterboard?. We have woodchip on the upstairs walls and would like to get rid of it and redecorate.

the best way I remove old wallpaper is to peel back the first layer:that is the layer with the pattern on it.Underneath that will be a layer of paper stuck to the wall with glue.Simply use warm water and a rag and wet this layer all over, leave for 30min, and the paper will peel off very easily.Use a wide paint scraper to lift it off.
