Renault Clio Expression 2006 wiper blades

Hi, My wiper blades on my Renault Clio seem to have a fault. When I switch them on sometimes they work and after a while stop working.
Can anyone please help.

Most wiper motors have a thermal cutout, which will switch the motor off, if its overloaded.
So keep the window wet (plenty of water) and check the linkages for a tight spot, lubricate (WD40) any tight spots and try again.

Or it just might be a loose connection/bad switch/fuse holder

Investigate where the wiper spindles exit the scuttle under the screen......things get as tight as hell in there!

Obviously I should have said......do the wipers seem a bit slower than normal?

Hi Burnerman, Sometimes the wipers work or it takes a while for them to start working when switched on and then they stop working, and then start to work again.
