Hi, I have a Renault Scenic and every time I put the fan/heater/demist on, I get a terrible smell front he vents like old socks! I have replaced the filter under the bonnet which is situated under the windscreen but it hasn't made any different. What else can I do? Thanks!

Presumably this is the Alize model - with air conditioning? The pong is usually due to bacteria build up on the evaporator - thats the air con radiator near the heater matrix.
You can buy aerosol deodorisers, which you set off in the car, engine and air con running on recycle....they are supposed to kill bacteria and therefore the smell - and they do work to some degree.
