Replacing bathroom extractor fan - wiring problem.

Hi can any one help?

I am replacing a very old bathroom extractor fan, with a nice shiny new one. The problem is the old one had 4 wires attached to it.

blue,red,yellow and an earth.

Now the new unit does not require an earth, is it ok to go ahead and connect the new fan and just not connect the earth wire?

Yep, just put the earth into a new PVC terminal block, and tuck it out of the way.
