l have just removed an old shower tray that has sat on a 22mm moisture resistant chipboard for nearly 20 years without any issues. My new rtay is stone resin that l am going to bed with sand & cement, can l leave the chipboard as a base or do l have to replace it with ply.?

Watch skill builder on YouTube. They covered resin trays and the problems some have causing cracks to form in trays
