Hi, As per subject, I've bought the part online and now I need to replace the broken one.
The job itself looks easy but what shall I do before..?
i.e. Empty the boiler..?!

Many thanks

Dont touch the isolation valves though.

Oh and while your at it dont disturb any pipes inside the boiler as they are guarenteed to pee out

Have fun. CLASSIC boiler you have there

Plumb in another one off the filling loop connection. Touch the boiler and its bound to leak.

Hi the job was done.. no leak ...yet
but as soon as I turn on the BOILER the burner heats up and the valve starts without any request, it gets very hot so i decide to switch the whole thing off.
Another thing the burner goes OFF and ON...

I left it for a while to cool and
I turn on the boiler (the green button) and the burner starts immediately,
Whichever position the Control knows are in the heat are also ON..
The point is that to turn them off I have to turn the boiler OFF...
What the F*ck is going on???

HELP ME
