Repressurissing Worcester 25si combi

I've used a pump to repressurise the expansion tank after draining the boiler.

Now the boiler sounds as if someone is swimming inside and the pump makes a lot of noise.

To pressurise the tank this is what I did:

Closed flow and return loop on boiler
Drain boiler.
Pump the expansion tank using a bicycle pump
Refilled the boiler up to 1.5bar pressure
Opened flow and return valves.


What am I doing wrong ?

I pressed the valve of the expansion tank and there is air coming out of it.

Wouldn't it be water coming out from the valve if the expansion tank was at fault ?
