Resetting the code on a alarm system

I have a un-badged alarm system at our house. It was installed in 2003, we haven't used it for good few years and no one remembers the code. Does someone know how to change the code, so we can now use the system?

Its an old guardtec. 300 series.

You would need to default it.
Others might give out that info sorry but I wont.

My home alarm is now going off, as I tried to default it, by taking the power off and disconnecting the internal battery of the unit. So if someone can help, I would really appreciate it.
