RIP Pete Postlethwaite

He was a excellent actor...first saw him in the film In the name of the father and have been a fan since RIP

Damned shame. His role alone turned Brassed Off from mediocre to top film.

I thought he was brilliant in Speilberks "Amstrad"

He lived not far from me in a place called church stretton,he once held the door of the local spar shop open for me when i had my hands full,How many A list hollywood actors would do that ?.He seemed a decent chap R.I.P

Personally, the Usual Suspects was the first film I'd seen him in. I was kinda drawn to his acting abilities - I dont know why, only to assume his abilities must have 'got me'.

Saw him in Minder in the 80's and other cameo's, but when I saw him in films I realised what an actor he was.

He was the the Priest in the the re-make of the Omen and I thought he played that part very well.

Ive watched him ever since, and didnt realise he had been so poorly for so long.

Another great one lost

Felt the same 21 years ago when Gordon Jackson passed - albeit the 15th Jan.

Mr. W.
