Hi everyone,
i am looking to make a wooden sensory board (or busy board) for my 1 year old grandson. I will be putting all the usual stuff on it like latches, handle, circuit breaker, light switch, bell etc.
I am wondering what material i should use for the actual board? Would ply be ok and if so, how would you finish it?

Many thanks in advance,

Gary.
