Servis 900 Washer Dryer Squeaking Noise Only During Drying

Hi I have a Servis 900 washer dryer it works ok in any of the wash programmes but if I use the dry programme it makes this awful squeaking noise not continuously but on and off. A Google search suggests that it may be the bearings but I want to get a good idea of what it is so that I have a rough idea how much repairing it will cost. The machine is 10 years old. It only makes the noise when drying and I only use the dry cycle for my smalls to help with the environment.

As a solution I could buy a tumble dryer I could put it in the hall as there is a window there which I could stick the vent through - its only me no family and Argos do a small tumble dryer for about £115.
