Hi,

I have a silly question - we've just moved into our first home and in the bathroom we have a shaver socket that has three holes. I want to plug in my electric toothbrush which has a two prong plug but i'd like to check that this is safe first.

On the left hole of the socket, it's rated at 240v and on the right hole its at 115v. the centre hole i'm guessing just takes the remaining prong of whatever your plugging in??

Is this normal?

Sorry this is a dopey question...

Thanks wingcoax - just to clarify, when you say the `right side` do you mean 240v or 115v?

ta.
