    Hi there,

I had a plumber start my bathroom renovation, but due to making several mistakes he has been removed from the job. The bath is in, and the pipework for the shower bar is in. He's used 15mm copper pipes to feed the shower.

The wall was chased out for the pipes to go in. They're in, and the tiling has been done. Leaving the two pipes exposed to fit the thermostatic shower bar. The pipes are 15mm and the shower bar is 22mm, so there will be a reducing valve. This is all fine.

The problem is the pipe centres have been set at 160mm but the centres of the shower bar is 150mm.

I've got to get another plumber back and I'm now panicking about the spacing of the shower pipes. I would like to be knowledgeable for a fix before a new plumber picks up this job, so would like some advice. I don't want to rip the tiling out.

    What can be done?

    Thanks
    Betz

Possibly, but it would result in the shower bar not being flush. :(
