shower booster pump

am about to install shower booster pump do you have to fit surrey flange on hot water cyclinder feed side,and can you fit the supply side from the pump back in to vent pipe on top of the cyclinder
 
why do you want to fit the supply from the pump back into the vent pipe for ?
that go's to the shower feed.

would the pump ,pump the water back in to the tank ie from the vent pipe as this is pipe straight of the top of the cylinder from where am going to install the pump
 
i don't think you quite understand how it works.
you don't want it to pump back into the tank.
if it does you have f*ked up somewhere.

hot feed from cylinder to pump then from pump to shower mixer.
cold feed from tank to pump then to shower mixer.

it should never pump back to tank.

Make sure the cold water outlet is below the hot water outlet!! (on header tank)
