What is the advised connection to use when connecting a shower booster pump to the hot supply from the hot storage cylinder. Pump is 3 bar Salamander twin pump ( hot and cold pumped) supplying single shower outlet and basin on same floor as hot cylinder. Pump is to be positioned at base of hot cylinder. Cold is from seperat down feed from cold tank in loft.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

thanks for the swift reply, what is the advised length that the take off pipe should extend through the essex flange into the tank? I am thinking about the risk of drawing air into the pump, so would it be advisable to extend pipe into tank 6 inches and finish pipe with an angled cut ?

appreciate your advice Kevplump
