Shower Room Dilemma

Hi,
I want to create a shower room but do not want to use a shower tray just a tiled floor with drain, I have so far fixed EG 15mm ply to the joists and all is rigid, any advice on weather I need to put down a membrane if so is there a special one for ceramic tiles?

remember that the wood will contract and expand at a different rate to the tile adhesive. also, the plywood will expand at a different rate to the solid joists. make sure all upstands where joining the base has plenty of flexible sealer
