Can anyone out there advise on how to disassemble the case of a Sony Vaio K415B. My laptop is running very hot and I want to get the base open to take a look at the fan with view to cleaning etc.
I can locate/ remove the 9 screws on the base, but the to separate the lower case from the upper case seems to require 4 screws to be removed that sit below the lid. Is it necessary therefore to remove the lift up lid of the laptop and if so, how ?
