Hi

Just moved to a 70 year old house. Everything is fine as far as DIY is concerned.

However I have noticed that when running a bath the cold water tap splutters a lot and sometimes stops for a while before suddenly starting again at full force.

All other taps are fine around the house just this one. Also I have noticed that some radiator make a gurgling sound when the C.H. is switched on and running water can be heard in the pipes.

Anyone know what could be the cause and if it is an easy fix for myself or a plumber. My first thoughts are that there may be air in the pipework as that is what it sounds like.

First DIY thing is to look in the loft and check out the 2 tanks cold storage for domestic water.....and feed/expansion for central htg...action/ condition of their ballvalves  and look at info on the site here  NO tanks= combi, bloody things
