Looking for a reasonable priced stair handrail off the shelf with brackets. Needs to be 1.5m long and ok if needs painting. Rest of wood lower stairs is painted. Thanks

Just fitted one myself & was surprised to find out that there is such a great many different types, the one you want is what you need to decide first. I got mine from Howden's in the end as they were by far the cheapest for the type I wanted. You need to know a tradesman with an account there though. Were you aware that there are several regulations covering their installation, I found out only after searching.
