I'm replacing a vsf100t ceiling bathroom fan. I'm stuck working out the wiring though. It has 3 wires as the attached,

My new fan asks for perminent live, switched live and neg.

Can you assistmany thanks

Connect the switched line and permanent line together, idea is switched line goes to lights so it auto starts with lights and continues for set time after switched off, seems your old one not wired to do this.

I not long have a light in the wiring, (wife wanted a separate switch in the wall so the fan didn't come on with the light)

I've checked further down the wiring and the attached is the wiring (4 wires)

Do we still think the yellow/green wire is the perminent live?

Sorted thanks all. The green / yellow was stitched live. Just seen where the vent goes, that's the next job, not directly outside :(
