We have recently moved into a house with a Stanley cooker/central heating range. I inadvertently fired it up without the pump running, it seems to have overheated and now won't come on at all. There seems to be a couple of reset buttons at the bottom on the front but pressing them doesn't bring it back to life.

Has anyone any experience of these beasties and can offer any help in getting back on again?

TIA.... :(

It might be the overheat thermostat that has tripped, you may find this under a plastic cover that doesn't even look like a cover.

Thanks Oilman, I looked around and found a couple of reset buttons and one of them did indeed do the trick.

Appreciate the help.

Giacomo.
