storage heaters

Does anybody know where i can get covers for storage heaters? normal sized radiator covers are not deep enugh and do not allow access to controls of electric storage heaters.

Dont cover electric heaters.

They are inefficient enough as it is, without you covering them up, not to mention the fire risk.

Radiators are able to withstand excess heat created within rad enclosures.

Electric heaters have thermal cutouts. You'd have this operating every night, and having to reset it or replace it every morning.

This is why they dont make covers for electric heaters.

you can use old storage rads with the guts removed to cover water rads you may mock .......but who stashed loads of old "schoolroom" rads when THEY went out of fashion
