Hi,

We have decided that we want to convert our ensuite into a walk-in wardrobe. We have already had the shower, sink and toilet removed, leaving the pipework capped off.

I have removed the tile from the shower cubicle, leaving the plasterboard in a fine mess. I am hoping to clad the walls in timber/mdf etc., and then install hanging rails across the width of it. The room is only 4ft by 9ft, with a small window at one end, shower at the other end. Can anyone suggest a timber finish that I could use? I have a few large sheets of wbp ply lying in the garage, but I think the finish on these would be a bit rough.

All suggestions welcomed.

Thanks,

teddyk

Either buy veneered MDF and lacquer/varnish it or buy one of the many wood grained MFC boards such as Eggar. Go for a light colour wood as it makes seeing whats in the wardrobe easier, I used a beech finish for this
