We're getting an 8x6 shed soon & I'm in the process of leveling the ground ready for it.
Has anyone got suggestions for preparing the ground?
Should I lay paving, or a wood frame ? Also the site is at the bottom of an incline, so is there anything I should do with this in mind...drainage etc.?

Any info much appreciated.

Depends if you want to do it properly or cheaply I guess.

My shed is on 2x2 slabs on around 2 inches of cement mortar on 3 inches of compacted hardcore.

Regarding drainage, if at least the slabs are above ground level, with a slight fall across the area, you won't get any issues with water collecting under it or anything, and no wood to rot.
