Hi all,

Could anyone give recommendations of what flange is best or to use between Hot Water Cylinder and Pump, do they all perform the same or do some have advantages over others.

Many thanks

PS Is there a particular name for a Direct Hot Water Cylinder that takes two immersion heaters!

Use a Surrey flange if you can - they are easier and will give you a bit more of the cylinder's capacity.

If the tappings are too small or you can't be ar*ed with pipe work thean an Essex flange is a bit more of a challenge but works just as well.

The Surrey also has the advantage of not compromising the structure of the cylinder.

A Warix flange is easier to set up than a Surrey due to the flexibility of the pipe connections.
