Hi all,

2.5mm^2 3 core swa terminating in a metal garage CU. Is it necessary to use the banjo on the gland with a flying earth to the earth bar (as well as the third core of the swa itself), or is the fact that the box is metal and the earth bar is attached to the box enough?

Also, what's the minimum allowed bend radius of 2.5 XLPE 3 core SWA?

Thanks

You should use the banjo with a 6mm bolt but I wouldn't bother to run a fly lead if the CU is metal.

Unless you are a body builder I wouldn't worry about the bend radius for SWA cables
