swa cable rating.

have got a 100 amp 3 phase welding set. plan to power it using swa cable. have been told by the spark that the cable ill need is 25mm 4 core. is this correct with the regs in terms of the 25mm or could it be something smaller? the run is about 10 metres.

quick question for you - do you have a 3 phase supply? where are you fitting it?

yeah got three phase supply. just rented an industrial unit. its got a busbar to run the set off. is what the spark told me right?

Depends on the length of the run and specific conditions of the installation, but 25mm² 4 core SWA sounds perfectly reasonable for this sort of supply requirement.
