Oh thanks MM; I’ve never heard of one of them and it’s good to know what helpful stuff is out there.
It ‘did my head in’ but the end result is just a bit of dampness at the edges which will eventually dry out on its own one day. It still looks the same as in my picture. I’ve been using a conventional dehumidifier, the one my friend lent me, but it’s not actually helping.
It sucks water out of the air okay but not the floor, as dawned on me after I emptied a few bucketful’s. After two days of continuous use drawing 1.5 Amps I feel it was a waste of time and money, so I’m not sure I would go down that route again. I feel like a complete
I’d probably have done better to throw some of that desiccant silicon stuff on the floor to suck it up, but I don’t know. I don’t intend there to be a ‘next time’ but then I notice I’m getting clumsier with age…
