    Have a look in airing cupboard if you have one, or wherever the hot water cylinder is.

    Or under kitchen sink/unit.
    Usually a braided/flexible metal hose but not always.

    OK, thanks - I thought the loop should be on the boiler. Will check out the airing cupboard where the cylinder and expansion vessel is.

    Holy moley, £420 a year!? What a racket. Spending the cost of a new boiler every five years and getting almost nothing for it.

    You'd be much better off keeping that money in your bank account, especially with the call out charge being levied on top of those fees. You'd have saved yourself about £600 over the last 3 years by not paying Homeswerve anything and just having a friendly local engineer in your contacts.
