I have taken a spur to serve a double socket, from an existing single socket which has two sets of wires coming in.
The socket works with hairdryer, tumble dryer, but will not work when I
plug my outside PIR light into double socket. (Light works in original single socket)
Can anyone advise what I've done wrong???

Double check the polarity of your connections (ie are they in the right terminals at the single socket end and the double socket end)

I've checked the connections, I have three red, blue, green in the single socket (including my spur wires), and one each in the spur double socket .
