TAP connectors Am i MAD!!!!!

right i can buy a 15mm compression to a 3/4bsp service valve (that fit washing machines) can i not buy a 15mm to 1/2" service valve that is male oooooo i can buy female ones but i can not find male!!!!!

i can just use a straight 15mm to 15mm service valve but to my eyes thaey are for compression fitting and as a result the surface area that is to fit on the flexible tap hoses (rubber washer) is tiny and im not sure what to do please help

I get them from B&Q (never tried merchants for some reason). They have a flat surface so work better than the "sharp edge" iso valves.
