Tape for aluminium "L" moulding.

I'm wondering if it is possible to get the tape that covers the aluminium mouldings.
We have some aluminium angle mouldings on a set of stairs where the tape is coming off the mouldings.
Other than replace all the mouldings, I would like to remove the mouldings, renew the tape, and replace the mouldingsIs it possible to get the tape. It looks like oak.
