I have a radiator in the bathroom that stays cold when all the other radiators come on at 4pm then decides to come on on its own accord, but even then it stays luke warm at the top and cold at the bottom. So one night i was fiddleing with it,trying to get it to work like, by turning the thermostat knob fully on then fully off really quickly and hey presto it started to heat up,i could hear the water flowing through the radiator. So i left the radiator thinking it was fixed like and went to me mate gaz for a brew and a chat. When i got back later on i checked the radiator and it was back to the way it was...gutted!! Can anyone please help!!!

You could try a new thermostatic valve, they cost around 10 pounds.
But if you can't cut off the water supply to the rad to replace it,it may get a little wet.
Plenty off towels reqd.
