Joe you're a provocative ****. you get a kick out of winding people up.... the mcanns have the sole right to decide how they deal with maddie's future.... you need to butt out !!!!!!

And i am being very restrained in my words...

You are right, but don't you think it's time the newspaper concentrated on other issues, like the girl now missing in britain ?

Isn't it time to shut down the circus and admit the girl is dead? Then use the money in the fund to look for children who just may be alive or in an abuse situation? To keep help lines open for kids in need?
Isn't enough enough?

you know joe, you take the biscuit.... if you want to admit maddie is dead (in your small world) then that's fine.... but why should anyone else even care what you say when there is a chance a small girl might be alive and saveable?

Lets look at the situation... your daughter has been taken.... and you may have left the door unlocked... you may have looked away for a second.. you may have gone for a p!ss.... you may have made a mistake and trusted society a bit too much.... but joe says it's time to give up..... ok, joe's the boss.... let's make a grave, and move on........ i say F*** you joe... leave other people to deal with their own..... it aint owt to do with you...

This might come as a surprise to you but investigations wind down and stop because the police believe that whoever has gone missing has gone. Are you saying that we should maintain a police investigation of hundreds of officers in perpetuity? Is there ever a time when you say - "the trail's gone cold, better wind things down"? Children go missing daily - couldn't the fund be put to better use than paying for endless pictures in the papers? Paying oodles of money to private investigators that are always 'on the verge of a breakthrough' that never quite arrives? So let me ask you all this.

"At what point do YOU believe the search should be scaled down/called off and assume that she is lost forever?Or do we keep on searching until we are looking for a missing pensioner?"

Answer please. (they won't).

you have answered your own question here.

precisely, the police will wind down when they see fit.

the Mcans on the other hand will probably never stop looking.

Children go missing daily - couldn't the fund be put to better use than paying for endless pictures in the papers? Paying oodles of money to private investigators that are always 'on the verge of a breakthrough' that never quite arrives? So let me ask you all this.

the Mc's can spend their fund as they see fit. their investigations will not dilute any other investigations into other missing persons.

"At what point do YOU believe the search should be scaled down/called off and assume that she is lost forever?Or do we keep on searching until we are looking for a missing pensioner?"

as a parent you will never rest i'm sure.

Answer please. (they won't).[/quote]

Why does everyone on this forum continually fall for Joe's wind up posts?

It's easy to make provocative statements with the intention of causing offence ...

Women should stop home, they've no right in the workplace.

Disabled children should be killed at birth to save the taxpayer a lifetime of care.

Only white skinned, blue eyed, blond people should be able to live in this country ... Which would be good for the manufacturers of jack boots ;)

Easy ... The clever bit is understanding the intent and ignoring the post.

Oh, and for the record, I don't believe in any of the above statements ... Which I doubt will make any difference to the mods who will probably delete this post anyway

She's already buried. End of.

You are the lowest piece of slime ever to be allowed an opinion. I hope someday you have a daughter. God forbid some day that she is brutally murdered & lying somewhere alone.

I hope when that day comes I will have the privilige to say to you `` Hey, forget about it, Life goes on. ;)

End of.

How Dare you, you ignorant Cretin.

OK then gaspipe - when do YOU think that the search should be called off? When she's a pensioner or before? If before - put a date on it. (he won't).

as a relativly free thinking inteligent person!!!!!

you will know the answer to that

resorces move to other tasks as the priority drops down its a gradual proccess
there is possibly only 10 percent of the peak resorces of the police being used now this will fluctuate up and down as priorities change new information comes in the mayor has a perge on ilegal fincas what ever eventualy by nature the prioretys will change and in years to come probably only 2 people in the police station will have any paperwork to do with the case

If I put myself in their shoes my guilt at failing my children would drive me to suicide.
