Thorn M Boiler

Hi - I've got a 25 year old Thorn M gas boiler (model M/30 M44/54C) which works fine! Recently though it's stopped heating the water in the immersion heater but it's still doing the radiators no problem. The round timer thingy's not working and I reckon the thermostat's a bit worse for wear ... so do you reckon I need a new Control Panel or just the thermostat?

A parts co. said they've got a control panel for an obsolete Thorn (ref: 4390156) but they dont know if it's right for my model.

Any advice, thoughts or opinions would be gratefully received!
