Still having a problem with the heating. So far I have checked the pump, the 3 port valve, the thermostat on the boiler, the gas vale and room stat. All of these are working fine but the radiators wont get hot and there is no hot water. Everytime I drain water from the boiler it cuts back in (the water drained off is always hot) If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. As Im in the construction trade I dont like to not bring a heating engineer in, I would rather try an save some money

As skilled as you may be in your particular trade, everyone has their own speciality, so I would recommend getting a heating engineer in to have a look

I would never think of doing my own carpentry or plastering etc

look. you've fixed it so his hot water now doesnt work either, why not just get someone that knows what theya re doing in.

no need for a new thread either.

Thanks for your comments guys have told my brother to get a heating engineer in. He said he was going to apply for a personal loan so he would be able to pay his bill. Cheeky B**t**d!!!!! :D
