Hi, Got a problem with boiler, the pilot light will not stay alight when i release the gas button, i have already changed out the old thermocouple and put a new one in, but the pilot light still wont stay on! Wots wrong??

Ok, Wot do you mean if the pilots correct, you mean the thermocouple tip is sitting in the flame, does it have to be in a certain postion?
as long as the flame envelopes the tip
t/c should be knocking out about 30 mv if ok

Thanks for this just one more question, is there any way of testing a t/c to see if it is working?
warm the tip and use a multimeter across the contacts 
ie the other end
