Just moved house, light fittings there are rubbish, got some new ones, was expecting 1 blue wire, 1 brown wire and 1 green/yellow wire, but have 3 fat grey cables, 2 containing and earth, red and black wire and 1 containing an earth and 2 red wires. The light fitting to go on the ceiling has 3 holes for the wires, 1 live, 1 earth and 1 neutral? Anyone know what goes where??

Many thanks

You will need an extra piece of connector block (min 5A rated).

All earths together into the one piece of connector block.
Black-Black-Blue together into another block
1 red from the 2redcore cable to the other 2 reds (in the extra block.)
The other red from the 2redcore cable to the brown in the final block.
