Electrical wholesalers are good...some decent makes are elliot lucas, CK...it depends on funds and what you like......God knows on how many tools i've lost in lofts, underfloors it can be an expensive do....

I am a professional electrician in Ireland. In pliers, cutters, cable sheers etc. you cant beat KNIPEX. Go for 1000V insulated "plastic dipped" if you can afford it. Combination Pliers approx €25 +VAT
In screwdrivers I would recomend either WIHA or IRAZONA(about €40 plus VAT a set - 7 drivers)
As with all tools there life depends on how you use them, especially screwdrivers. Keep using the incorrect sizes/types and they will be useless in no time.
