Hi all
I recently bought a dining table and a freestanding kitchen unit. I'm pleased with the colour and patina of the wood. Problem is that there are getting water marks after even just a few days.
So I'm hoping that there is a product (which is safe to use in food areas) that I can use to help protect the wood from water damage and other types of marking, etc. (usual kind of kitchen stuff).
I've also recently bought new oak doors. These are unfinished but are now hung and so will need finishing ASAP. I wondered if I could get one product which would serve all these tasks? Or will I need something different for the doors? Whatever the answer, we want the doors to stay the same colour and shade, so whatever goes on them must be "invisible" so that the doors still look the same as they do now.
Any suggestions from you helpful bunch would be fantastic
Cheers
Max
(PS - should things like this go here or in the Painting/Decorating forum?)
(PPS - I can post pictures of the items if that would help?)
