I have been called out to a friends house where there is a trianco tro 15/19, it has shut off due to overheating. I have checked all over the boiler and can not find a reset button? The boiler has been shut down now for a few days so there is no heat generated to overheat the boiler again. Any ideas? Many thanks

Many TRO models had a thermal reset limit stat. If you isolate the power, undo the four screws on top of the control box, and you will see the limit stat inside. There may be a button on the bottom of the panel, or the back, or no button if it is thermal reset. If it is thermal reset, then you need to replace the faulty unit, which is now obsolete. If you get the numbers of it, ( Teddington TBH?), try www.abgo.co.uk for a replacement.
