Hi Firstly: I would like to fit TRVs to my Rads the thing that is making me think twice is that The Lockshield valve is at the bottom of the rad, but at the other end where the TRV would go the pipe goes into the top of rad. Can I change it with a new trv to go in the bottom of rad or do I have to keep it at the top of rad. (Normal 15mm pipework).
Secondly: 2 of my rads upstairs don't have any lockshield valves at one end they just come straight out of rad with elbows then into floor. the other end of rad has usual screw type valve is this ok or should i put lockshields on . Thanks

What sort of system do you have? It sounds like it could be gravity circulation.
